Winterfest at Payson Park

Join us as we celebrate the culmination of Portland Nordic's Snowmaking Pilot Project, and with community, winter fun, and best of all... SNOW!!!!!

Check back for updates, but for now, expect the following:

• 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. - snowmaking and grooming demo (weather dependent)

• 10 a.m. - Kick Off, Welcome, Ribbon Cutting

• 10 a.m. - noon - Free nordic ski and snowshoe loans, sledding and winter fun courtesy of Maine GearShare, Winter Kids and Portland Gear Hub. 

• 11:45 p.m. - Last of Rental/Borrow Gear goes out 

• Noon - Portland Nordic Wraps up programming, but stay and enjoy the day in Payson Park!

Raffle items include Carters XC family ski passes, and ski waxing packages from Boulder Nordic.
